What a great day, we left Parkview RV park (OK for over night but not a destination, they advertise WIFI but it was not working when we were there) heading west on the 10. Was nice to have an uneventful travel day. Just lots of central and west Texas, a little rolling and we were climbing most of the day as we traveled towards El Paso. Our drive through El Paso went better than expected, we hit town at 2:30 and were through before rush hour started, continued for another 50 or so miles and spent the night at Coach light RV Park on the west side of Las Cruces, NM.
Tonight we decided to something different. After connecting the Motorhome we decided it was time to have a Whataburger for dinner, it had been a long time for both of us and we both remembered their meals as being very good and we were not disappointed
Vee was good and had a chicken salad, while I just enjoyed having a 2 patty burger with cheese, FF, and a soda if I’m going to blow it I’ll do it all the way. Slightly related the good news is my weight is below 200 with a goal in the high 180’s before the trip is over only 10 more lbs to go.
